you have to work to find indie

we’re not open yet, but in Fall 2026 we’ll be San Francisco’s first bar dedicated to indie games, music, comix.. and so on.

most underground stuff doesn’t see the light of day because the appeal is too niche, the product too weird, and the money-making too limited.  truth is if it doesn't make money then industry won't float it.  that's where we come together.  you buy lots of drinks and we can afford to blow money on cool, hard to find shit.

tucked in the heart of mid-market & soma pilipinas, indie darling is taking over 9,000 square feet comprised of two floors of arcade/bars and event space.

we're curating a collection of arcade games you won’t see elsewhere - one-offs and homebrew arcade cabinets, rare low-run pinball machines, and installations that are more artwork than game. and if you’re working on something that slaps let us know!

about indie darling *

indie darling is an experimental playground where you can unplug from the mainstream, sip cocktails (non-alcoholic options too) and dive into the offbeat humor and bold creativity of indie makers, all while surrounded by a vibe that’s equal parts fun and unapologetically weird.
